Students from Mrs. Howe’s first grade class at Deauville Gardens West Elementary School learned about Thanksgiving holiday traditions. The students read “Balloons Over Broadway,” a story about the Thanksgiving Day parade in New York City. Each student then designed their own floats for the Thanksgiving Day parade. Students socially distanced to share their balloon creations for their imaginative Thanksgiving Day parade.
