In October, students in Ms. McCormack’s Third Grade class at Deauville Gardens West Elementary School learned about staying safe on the internet and being good digital citizens. They read “Chicken Clicking” by Jeanne Willis and created a circle map to share ways to stay safe in the digital world. Following the lesson, students wrote down their own ideas for staying safe and created a digital safety bulletin board to share with the school.
