Students in Nancy Csorny’s second-grade class at Deauville Gardens East Elementary School were excited to get to work on Sept. 5. The class was tasked with answering the question, “What does a scientist do?” Experimenting with windbags and applying Bernoulli’s principle, the students came up with many dynamic answers including: ask questions, test things, observe, explore, make predictions and discover answers.
