Sen. John Brooks recently secured $125,000 in unrestricted state aid for Copiague School District. Copiague is one of four districts on Long Island to receive funding. Copiague will be using the money across all six schools for new library tables, upgrades to the robotics lab and a new computer cart for its electronic music lab. Sen. Brooks (center left) presented the check to Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kathleen Bannon (center right). Also in attendance were (back row, from left): Assemblywoman Kimberly Jeanne-Pierre, Leg.
