Red Ribbons Recognize Drug-Free Zone

Copiague Middle School is recognizing Red Ribbon Week by placing handcrafted red ribbons on the building and fences outside the school. Teachers Francesa Walker (left) and Marisa Perlongo, along with students, hung the ribbons to symbolize a drug-free school. Copiague Middle School students signed pledges to be substance free and each day announcements were made to raise awareness about drug abuse.
