Mentors Offer a Meaningful Connection

Students and teachers who are part of the mentoring program at Susan E. Wiley gathered for a holiday party prior to the school break.

The mentoring program at Susan E. Wiley is a partnership for students and teachers where they are both offered an opportunity to develop a trusting relationship and a meaningful connection that helps promote academic and social success. This volunteer program currently has more than 70 students enrolled and is growing every year.

Teachers meet with their students for half an hour per week to play, interact and socialize.
