Junior Chamber Students Compete in Local Challenge

Members of the Junior Chamber of Commerce from Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School competed in the Adelphi University Apprentice Challenge on Nov. 6.

Katherine Abreu, Jennifer Diaz, Nicholas Hernandez, Sheree Hicks, Cameren Jackson and Sarah St. Jean competed against 240 students from 27 different school districts. The challenge of this business simulation was to determine who could create the best subscription-based business geared toward teenagers. Four Copiague students made it to the finals round.
