Good Choices Help Students Soar

Susan E. Wiley Elementary School is celebrating its students and their positive choices with a month of activities centered around Red Ribbon Week.
During the week of Oct. 24, each student pledged to say no to drugs by writing their names along with a positive/healthy message on an eagle cutout. Students placed their individuals eagles on a poster in the hallway with the message “We can all soar like Copiague Eagles if we say no to drugs.”
Students “ran against drugs” during their physical education classes during the week of Oct. 31 and will participate in classroom activities during the week of Nov. 7. As a culminating activity, students and staff at Susan E. Wiley will dress in red during the week of Nov. 14.
