Deauville Gardens East Elementary School recently held its literacy night for grades 3-5. Centered on the theme of cooperation, 50 students volunteered to perform a reader’s theater of social worker Lysa Mullady's book “Red Yellow Blue.” Attendees went back to their classrooms to participate in a cooperative art project. Each student receive a picture book and a package of scented markers. They each individually colored a cube used to create a cube mural.
